How do we score?

Every entry on Quantoreum carries a QTM score out of 100. This page explains what that number measures, what it deliberately avoids claiming, and where its limits sit. We would rather you trust it a little than trust it blindly.

What the score is based on

Each QTM score reflects our editorial assessment of a tool's public standing. We weigh how widely adopted it appears to be, how recently the vendor has supported it, and how transparent the vendor is about how it actually works. That assessment is drawn from each tool's public listing, its own marketing pages, and visible community activity.

Percentage figures such as win rate, profit factor and max drawdown are labelled as estimates for a reason. They are not the result of us running independent backtests on every tool listed. Treat them as a rough, secondhand indication rather than verified performance data.

What the score is not

A high score is not a promise of profitability. It means a tool looks well-supported and reasonably transparent by public signals, nothing more. It is not independently backtested performance data, and it is never influenced by payment.

Where this is heading

We're moving toward scoring built on data anyone can verify themselves — adoption figures, update history and access model read straight from each tool's own listing. That replaces editorial judgement with something checkable, category by category. Until an entry carries that verified mark, treat its score as our current best estimate.

Corrections

If a figure on this site is wrong, email hello@quantoreum.com with the entry and a source. We would rather be corrected than be wrong in public. Verifiable corrections are applied at the next update.
